Grounded in the Filipino concept of "maaliwalas" which privileges light and serenity in architecture, ALAO designs projects from residential to large-scale urban planning with a particular focus on human behavior and architectural space. In addition to commissioned work, ALSO engages a rigorous research practice that seeks to explore and expand architectural dialogues in the social realm through research initiatives.
